Mastery tells you what it knows and what it doesn't.

A coaching review is only worth reading if you can tell what was measured, what was a judgment call, and what you told us yourself. Mastery keeps those separate, on every line.

  • Measured

Taken directly from your video — your body's positions and timing, tracked frame by frame.

  • Estimated

A judgment call, made when the video shows something but not clearly enough to measure it. Always shown with how sure we are.

  • You told us

Something you told us: your club, where the ball went, what you were trying to do, how it felt. We don't pretend to have seen it.

  • Cited source

Drawn from established golf coaching — what a 7-iron swing is generally trying to do — rather than from your video.

  • Baseline provider

Your own starting point. Progress in Mastery always means a change from this, never a comparison with someone else.

Our rules

What Mastery will never do.

  • · Never invent a number it couldn't measure from your video.
  • · Never claim you improved without a measurement that says so.
  • · Never compare you with a tour player or another golfer.
  • · Never diagnose an injury or talk about your body medically.
  • · Never use your videos to train models without asking you first.
  • · Never show your videos to anyone else without your say-so.
